Deadline: August 15.The Peralta Colleges Foundation is an independent 501c3 nonprofit organization founded in 1971 to secure funds in support of the missions of the four colleges in the Peralta Community College District. The Foundation’s primary purposes are to provide scholarships to students and support excellence in the colleges’ diverse professional and vocational training programs.The Foundation’s Board of Directors has recently launched a major initiative to increase the Foundation’s endowment and raise its visibility and impact throughout the colleges and the communities they serve. Two new annual events, the golf tournament in the spring and the annual dinner in the fall, are integral to the growth of the Foundation’s role and presence.
